Desert bighorn sheep only require water in the winter when green plants are not available, and have a complex 9-stage digestive system.h

5. What are some of the organism’s behavioral adaptations to its environment?
Bighorn sheep sometimes create herds of up to 100 induvidiuals, but groups of 8-10 are more common. Adult males usually stay away from females in seperate bachelor herds for most of the year.

The bighorn sheep is a consumer, specifically an herbivore.

The bighorn sheep lives in the rocky mountain and the desert grassland biomes. The rocky mountain biome is rocky and at a high altitude.
the desert grassland is like a grassland, only drier.

The bighorn sheep is classified as a low risk, conservation dependent species.

Humans affect my animal because my animal's habitat is being used and developed for human recreational purposes.
